Kalispera Walks

Our Kalispera walks begin as the heat of the day fades, and end with serene sunsets and sea views. 

From our meeting point in the new village, we take a leisurely walk towards Old Farsa with views up the hill to some of the buildings we will visit on our tour. Following the original path and steps that connect the new and old villages you can really appreciate the sense of security that villagers felt from being up high. Once in Old Farsa we take a roughly circular route around a number of pathways to take in some of the most important and impressive buildings along with the stunning views. 

During our walk you can learn about the villagers, their lifestyles and livelihoods, as well as learning about the architectural styles of the buildings, some of which date back to Venetian times. 

At the end of the walk, we head back to Footsteps HQ for a refreshing drink on our roof terrace to complete the experience.

*Please note: Evening walk start times vary depending on the time of year. Wherever possible we plan for the experience to coincide with the setting sun. Start times will be communicated once your booking is confirmed but will typically be between 4.30pm and 6pm.
